soooo... you know when you see really gorgeous shoes online by really famous designers? and you just WISHED you owned them?

I'm the kinda person who would go into the store and just try them (:

lucky for me I have a classmate who does own these Beautiful Branded Shoes and she happens to be the SAME SIZE as me (:

she bought 2 pairs recently and one of them is the jelly shoes by VW,

the first pair I saw from the jelly shoes collection was Heart Heels one.

when we were in HongKong I went off for awhile and about 5-10 min later found her again with a VW bag in her hand. AHHHH.

she bought a pair jellies with the bow in tortoise shell. which I think look soooo edible-ly gooood.

the shoes, get this, SMELL OF STRAWBERRIES, insane right? deodorant qualities!

which I thought was really really smart of VW because the shoes being made of jelly cannot breathe, so you tend to er... sweat in them. very unglamish, but very very pretty.

they are SO comfortable, really wish I had a pair. she was so lucky, because VW was having a sale, she got them at only about $200 SGD.

Nicholas Kirkwood has AMAZING designs, no joke. Absolutely Fantastic Stuff.

these are my favorite, with a sort of futuristic raw industrial look, bolts for the front toes and sheets of "iron" bolted down for the platform. and who can resist the string of nuts for the heel?

they cost... 1.2 or 1.6k not sure.

but they are gorgeous.
ha I think I'm about 1.8m in them. HOHOHO.

these are the kinds of shoes that if someone steps on your toes with the heels, you might actually lose your toe.

the stitching is just fabulous.



these heels are really hard to walk in, I have to say, they are ALMOST as hard to walk in as Christian Louboutins.

Louboutins are really not possible to walk in unless you are the kinda girl who walks in heels everyday, which I don't.

Even so, I think I walk pretty well in heels, but these were hardcore, I swapped shoes with my classmate for awhile cause her feet were dying.

even sitting down your feet hurt cause you are constantly pointing them. hahaa.

my mom would describe these heels as the kind "You need some guy to drive you around in."

I try not to think of brand, but it does sway me abit.

I remember this really awesome quote

which I think alot of people don't do.

and thats the size on people, persoanlly I would like it bigger but, hey thats just me.

(when it comes to chanel, I have "SUCKER" written all over my face)

personally I am NOT swayed if I see a celeb wearing or carrying something, but thats only because I don't like following celebs, be it in magazines or style. Their taste level is not that high, their stylists are the one behind everything, so in that way I think of celebs as... mannequins or models. You wouldn't buy everything Jessica Stam wears on runway right? Obviously because shes wearing someone else's taste and style. The same thing ALMOST applies to celebs, of course they can say I don't like this but ultimately its the stylist chioce, also they are like... walking ads. bleh.

I'm not saying this is for all celebs, me thinks it applies to a good deal of them tho.

the things I look for in a bag, in order:

1. design

2. size

3. size

4. size

5. comfort (accessible to the inside of the bag, easy to carry)

6. quality

7. amount of detail in the bag, pockets, design so on.

8. brand

9. price

2. -4. SIZE okay obviously you can see I always look at size first, thats really a personal preference, I need alot of space because I tend to dump things into my bag.

my friends refer to my bag as doraemon's pocket.

so... size, that probably means I go for classic totes yes?

wrong.

1. Design. I don't like totes because they generally look the same. thats why design comes in first and foremost.

which is way i'm utter and totally IN LOVE with the 31, Rue Cambon chanel bag, its leather but it look like a paper bag. utter cute-ness max.

Totes:

okay this probably wasn't the best example for a nice tote bag but it came up as one of the first hits on google.

totes.... sometimes have zippers, I find it abit odd when theres no closure, like someone can just reach in, my friends have done this to me countless times.

if I DO buy a tote, it's definitely able to last.

5. Comfort, I can't stand carrying things in my hand or slinging it on my elbow, I think its a gift if you can get used to that because you will have alot more choice when it comes to bags that way. Due to me always carrying alot of shit around, this is simply not possible.

so I need something that I can sling over my shoulder, the best would be a backpack style.

which is why this bag is what I carry on a daily basis now, you may think it's fugly but I adore it, mega cute-ness. $17 from the HK's ladies market. mega cheap, quality not quite there but I love it regardless.

6. Quality, if i'm willing to spend money on something I have to know it will last me, I kinda trash my bags ><>

er... I know uppity brands have been releasing fabric totes, so everyone can get a piece of the brand, at a much cheaper rate, but honestly I don't think its worth it. at all.

and also why are they always in a muslin colour or made out of thin cotton, doesn't look very durable to me.

7. Secondary Design, baby details on the handle or the inside of the bag, little pockets to put your phone in etc. Very important because I always have to reach in for my ezlink card and wasting 5 minutes to find an ezlink card in my bag everytime is just not practical.

the chloe paddington comes with slots next to the opening of the bag, great for handphones and ezlink cards!

its no secret i'd like for a paddington.

8. -9 . Price and Brand obviously look at brand before price, not flushing 3 k down the drain on some unknown brand that I know nothing about that may just be cheating me of money..

eeehehehehe, i love the texture and colours. the jacket damn cute, i don't know about owning it, but its something i would run to in the store just to look at and see up close.
ditto to image above, just a different colour. not a big fan of this colour tho, it looks like autumn leaves on the floor.
wtheck is that jacket! omg why does it look so cool? the inside one with the panels coming down the front with the fur collar. and then the shrug long coat on the outside? maybe its one? i don't know, but undeniably cool.

wah. okay i have to stop saying the word cool, but really what OTHER word can you describe this outfit? i've always been a big fan of leather jackets with knitted sleeves because your movement is so much more liberal. and i think it looks way nicer, idk, point of interest?

tried on the shirts, i bought this one! $40ish i think, this was awhile ago so i forgot.

k problem with the shirts are that they are meant for japanese people, which needless to say are TINY people, so the shirts were

a. too small for me

b. too short for me

c. wrongly proportioned for me

but i still bought the black one for support!

its abit hot to wear (100% plastic hellos) but bearable if you're wearing it in a mall. its not as comfortable as cotton but really, i don't mind. GO-ECO!

so here is one of the things i bought, a pencil made from newspaper! so much smarter than using trees right?

quite obviously its from china, harhar. chinese newspaper. imagine how much newspaper waste they must have with a population like that D:

and you get this like marble (?) effect when you sharpen it, it comes in HB and 2B i think.

i got the 2B ones cause i like using darker pencils, they come in a set of 3 for about... $1.50 to $2.50 which is like damn affordable can! considering how Eco-Friendly is never Wallet-Friendly.

ECO STAPLER, doesn't use bullets at all!

though i do question how long they would last being "stapled" together in my bag which is full of rubbish.

the pen is super cool, it comes in black and blue, instead of the plastic exterior, its cardboard.

i actually like the look of the pens more than the pencil, but apparently i seem to have forgotten to take pictures of it, again it comes in a set of 3.

of course you have your standard "save the planet" tote which i find... not that pretty, and tbh its abit too small to put much in. groceries....?

then they have these little capsules with fish and shrimp, you don't ever have to feed them and they last anywhere between 5 to 10 years (again i'm abit rusty on details)

this is some system for industrial waste or if you have a landed property.

this one is gross, all your waste goes in there and worms multiply and JUST DAMN GROSS LA. and they pick up the remains for you or smth. i asked how many worms were inside this one he said about 1000. ONLY 1000, whew.

so we went to damn alot of stores, departmental and all, ALL CANNOT FIND CHEAP WINTERWEAR, finally went to a store in Lucky Plaza, recommend by a sales clerk and ebel's mom.
